Chambers Morgan James was originally founded in December 1991, in direct response to client requests for highly personal and professional advice. Several clients expressed the need for an on-going relationship with one key contact with whom they could relate, and which would not be subject to organisational restructuring.

According to these original clients, many larger companies seemed to provide initial advice and would then disappear; others answered all client needs with off the shelf products, rather than addressing the specific client concern.

Since that time, the company has built a reputation for offering excellent independent personal financial planning and wealth management advice to private clients and organisations. Many of the original clients have referred their friends and business colleagues to Chambers Morgan James, so helping the business to grow.
